A school film helps parents see the learning atmosphere through real activities. I plan around the school timetable, wait for children's natural moments instead of directing them and coordinate consent with the school before filming.
The order things happen
Tell me the level and the purpose
Kindergarten, primary, secondary or international — and whether it is for admissions, an open house or the school page. The purpose decides what parents must see.
Pick the activities to show, and check the calendar
Sports day, performances, specialist classrooms — filmed on the real calendar, sometimes across several days, which is how you get footage nobody had to stage.
Sort out parental consent before the shoot
I ask the school to handle consent in advance and plan the shoot so children without permission stay out of frame.
Subtitles for foreign parents, and verticals for the page
English or Chinese subtitles to match the parents; I have done a Chiang Mai kindergarten with Chinese subtitles, and a set of vertical and horizontal clips for a school page.

Yes, as long as nobody directs the children. I film from a distance that does not intrude and wait for real moments during activities — the school film in Nan is what that patience looks like.
Our school budget is limited
Give me the real number and I size the days and deliverables to it. What raises the price is days and subtitles, not the size of the school.
How many revision rounds, and how do I get the files?
You review on an unlisted YouTube link with 3–5 rounds of changes as agreed, then the master files arrive by Google Drive. Music and sound are selected with rights that match the agreed channels.
